Hello! So, you’re new to ITRTG and you need help understanding
whats going on? Find yourself helpless in chat while trying to
understand all of the jargon? Or have you been playing a while
and are just looking for some tips to help streamline your
gameplay? Well, you’ve come to the right place ;-D Here’s a
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
guide to help you along.

First off – there’s a lot of stuff in this game that can make it
very overwhelming to newbies, and some really esoteric mechanics
that are confusing to even some of the really hardcore players.
So take a deep breath and a moment to reflect, and read on!

Before I do go into detail though, I want to remind everybody
that this is an IDLE game, which means that it’s going to take a
very long time to get involved, understand and master. Be
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
prepared with patience and determination (we all know about
determination right?) lol

The beginning of this guide if for true newbies, who haven’t
played ITRTG before, or who are just getting back into it after
a long hiatus. I will be going over lots of basic concepts and
game mechanics, so even if you’re pretty sure you have a good
grasp of how it works, I urge you to read through it anyway in
case there are some concepts that you might have missed. If
you’re looking for specific gameplay tactics, scroll down a bit
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
to the “Intermediate Strategies” section, where I will discuss
some more of the hardcore strategies in greater detail. Or,
if you just need a definition for some piece of jargon you heard
on chat, just scroll down to the “Glossary” section near the end.

And everybody please take note: You can play this game any way
that you want to, with whatever strategy fits your playstyle and
personality the best. I will just be outlining the things as I
understand them. Take and use what you need, feel free to ignore
the rest ;-D

Newbies – Start Here!

You’re sitting in front of your screen with all sorts of buttons
and numbers and pictures and stuff and you have no idea what the
heck is going on. Welcome to ITRTG! We’ve all been there before,
but I will try to make it as painless as possible to get into the
game. But first, I need to explain some basic concepts.

Save and Export your Game:
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
To the left of your screen is a picture of your avatar, and
above are three tabs labelled “Stats”, “Rebirth” and “Info”. The
very first thing you want to do is click “Info”. This is the screen
where you will save, load, export and import your save game data.
“Save” and “Load” access an online save server that autosaves your
progress every 30 minutes, so that you don’t lose your progress.
“Export” copies a string of encrypted text to your clipboard to be
pasted into a .txt notepad file with your data in it. “Import” will
import that same encrypted data from the clipboard into the game.
Save your data online regularly, and make sure to save before closing
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
your browser. I would also suggest to Export your data and save the
.txt file someplace safe on your computer, this will allow you to go
back if you accidentally make a mistake by importing the save-state
back into the game. (Side note to Chrome users: Currently the “Export”
and “Import” functions do *not* work with WebGL, so you only have
the option for online save)

Warning: On this screen is an option to “Reset Game”. This option is
a HARD RESET, which will wipe out ALL of your progress. Elsewhere in
this guide I will mention “Rebirth”, which is a *soft* reset, DO NOT
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
CONFUSE THEM. You will not be able to recover from a hard reset unless
you import your last exported text file save.

Statistics:
Once you have saved and/or exported your game, click on the
“Stats” tabs to return to your statistics. You will see your avatar
once again, with 7 statistics below:
Physical, Mystic, Battle, and Creating are your basic stats.
These are the points you earn directly with the choices you make in
this game, and they affect everything that you are able to do in the
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
game. One of the main goals of the game is to raise these stats as
high as possible. HP, Attack and Defense(not listed here) are your
secondary stats, which rely on your basic stats and are used when
calculating fights. Finally, Divinity is in game currency that is
used later on, so I will not explain it here other than to say that
if you’re just starting out, you can safely ignore this one for now.
Time for some nerd math – Here’s how your basic and secondary
stats work:

Physical – for every 1 point of Physical, you earn 10HP and
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
.25 Attack
Mystic – for every 1 point of Mystic, you earn 1 point of
Defense (this is why Defense is not listed)
Battle – for every 1 point of Battle, you earn 1 point of
Attack
Creating – for every 1 point of Creating, you earn 5HP and
.5 Attack

So, it stands to reason that the more points you have in your
basic stats, the higher your secondary stats will be, and the more
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
effective your character will be in fights. This is the most
elementary concept – earn basic stat points to make yourself stronger.

But, how do I earn basic stat points?
At the top of your screen there are 4 tabs – “Build”, “Train”,
“Fight” and “Other”. Each Stat (Physical, Mystic, Battle, and
Creating) has its own screen where you earn points for them. But,
don’t worry! You don’t have to earn the points for them yourself
because your Shadow Clones will do it for you! Look in the upper
left hand box on the screen and you will see another stat labelled
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
“Clones” – These are your workers, they will earn stat points for
you by training, fighting and building and other things as well
over time. For now though, we’re only concerned about them training
and fighting. Before we do anything else, we need to create some
Shadow Clones.
Click on the “Build” tab, and click on the “Create” sub-tab.
When you first start the game, it defaults to building shadow clones
automatically, so you should already have a few clones being made
over time. The progress bar shows your progress in “creating”
your clones. Every time the bar fills, you will get 1 clone, and
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
you will also earn a point in your Creating stat. If you click on
“Change Creation” it will change the view to a list of all of the
things that you will be able to create when you reach that point
in the game. For now though, we will leave this set to create
shadow clones.
It is worth noting at this point that this process of creating
clones is extremely important, not just for the fact that you’re
making workers to do things, but for two other reasons. First-
You only start the game with the ability to make a maximum of 1000
clones. In order to increase that maximum, you need to create clones.
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
For every 20 clones you create (or are killed), your maximum will
increase by 1. So, by the time you create all 1000 clones and reach
your current maximum, your new maximum will have increased by 50, to
1050. This new maximum will only take affect *after* you have
done a *soft* reset though, so it’s not really important yet other
than to say that while you’re creating clones, you’re increasing your
maximum capacity. Second-You’re earning creating stat while you’re
creating, which affects your statistics directly (Yes important!).
That said, Click on “Train” and you will see two sub-tabs –
“Physical” and “Skills”, which correspond to your Physical and Mystic
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
stats respectively. The game will default to “Physical” to start with.
There you will see the first training opportunity – “Running”. To
start earning Physical, assign some of your shadow clones that you
have created to Running by clicking the “+” or “CAP” buttons. The
progress bar will fill with speed based on how many clones you have
assigned to the skill, and you will earn 1 point of Physical for every
completed bar. The “+” is self-explanatory, but the “CAP” button
will assign as many clones as possible to the skill in order to fill
it as fast as possible. The fastest that a progress bar can fill is
once per game tick, and you will notice this when you can no longer
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
see progress bar. This is known by players as “bb” (or black-barring,
or blue-barring). When the optimal amount of clones is assigned
to a skill, hitting the “CAP” button will only assign as many clones
as necessary to keep the progress bar “bb”. If you right-click on the
name of the skill, you will get a brief description of the skill as
well as the number of clones it takes to “CAP” the skill.
Click on “Skills” now and assign clones to “Double Punch” to
earn Mystic stat points in the same way that you did with “Running”
for Physical. You will see your Physical and Mystic stat points
increase over time now. As your Physical and Creating stat increase,
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
you will also see your Attack and HP stats increase, because these
basic stats contribute to those two secondary stats. Mystic is equal
to your Defense (for now anyway), so the Defense stat is not listed.
Remember the number of clones it takes to “CAP” a skill? This
can be reduced over time, which will increase the speed and use less
clones to train Physical and Mystic. Click on “Fight”->Special, and
make sure that the (auto-fight) toggle is set to on. I will explain
this later, but just suffice to say that over time, your caps will
decrease until eventually you will only need 1 clone to cap each
skill. The earlier you set this in your game, the better off you will
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
be in the long run.
After Running and Double Punch reach 500, the next skills,
Sit Ups and High Kick, will be unlocked. Assign some clones to these
skills also. They will fill slower than the first skills, because they
have a higher cap. Note that the auto-fight effect to reduce the caps
on skills only works for skills that you have already unlocked, so it’s
worth it to unlock as many skills as possible to take advantage of the
auto-fight as much as possible. The skills all unlock at 500
incrementally, so at 1000 the next skills will unlock, then 1500, 2000,
2500 and so on… until the last skills are opened at 13500. Always
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
leave clones on your lower skills so that they are always earning
points because at certain milestones, you will earn in-game
achievements which will become very important later on. You might hear
some talk on chat about “Next At” and “Ignore Clonecount” – at the
beginning of your game these are sort of but not really useful. I will
go into detail about how to use these options later on.
By now, you should have a healthy amount of Physical, Mystic and
Creating. But what about Battle? Click on “Fight”->Monsters. Whoah,
there’s a Slimy! Assign clones to beat it up. When the Slimy’s HP
reaches 0 you will earn 1 Battle Point and the Slimy will resurrect
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
to fight again. The speed that you defeat monsters like Slimy is
related directly to your secondary Attack stat – the higher your
Attack stat the faster you will kill the monsters. You might notice
that some of the clones that you assigned to your Slimy are disappearing,
this is because your Defense (related directly to your Mystic stat) is
too low to protect your clones. It’s not a bad thing, remember that
for every 20 clones created OR KILLED your clone max will increase by
1, so it is to your benefit if some of your clones die in battle, so
long as you’re not losing clones so fast that you are destroying all
of your clones faster than you’re creating them. At the top of the screen
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
is a toggle labelled “Add clones if defeated”, make sure this is set to
on so that you will automatically replace your clones that are killed.
After you defeat Slimy, Frog will open up. You might think that by
sticking your clones on Frog at this point will help you get Battle
points faster but this is a misconception. Keep your clones on the Slimy
until you “bb” the Slimy, then move your clones on to Frog. The criteria
to “bb” monsters is directly related to your Attack stat, which in turn is
affected by your Physical, Battle, and Creating stats, so the higher these
are the faster you will “bb” the monsters. One more toggle is the “Next if
1 cloned” button, which will move all of your clones down to the next
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
monster if you’ve 1-capped the monster “bb”. Set to on or off if you like,
though I would caution not to set it just yet.

Major Points:
Training = Earn Physical and Mystic
Build = Earn Creating
Fight = Earn Battle

This is the basic game mechanic. Assign clones to earn stat points
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
to become stronger. You will *always* need to have clones on Training and
Fighting, and you have no choice in Creating because creating is always on
so long as you are online. If you have no clones on Training or Fighting,
you will not earn points in Physical, Mystic or Battle.

One last statistic I have failed to mention until this point is the
“Power Level” stat, located in the upper left just above your clones. This
stat represents an overall combination of all of your basic stats and
multipliers to determine a rough gauge. However, I want to caution that this
value can be skewed and misinterpreted if your stats are not all equivalent
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
(which is always going to be the case, sorry for all you OCD people who like
things nice and even), so I don’t suggest using this stat as more than a
general idea of how you’re doing so far by comparison to an hour ago.

Okay, so what now?
At this point, you should be earning your basic stats consistently,
let’s have a look at your next goal: Defeating a God. Click on
“Fight”->Gods. The first God you need to defeat is Hyperion. Hold your
horses for a moment though. Right-click his name to have a look at his
stats. His Power Level, HP, Attack, and Defense will be listed under a
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
short description. This is important.
Why?
Because this is how God battles work in ITRTG:
Your Attack and Defense are compared against Hyperions Defense
and Attack respectively.
If Your Attack > Hyperion’s Defense, Hyperion will take Damage to HP
If Hyperion’s Attack > Your Defense, You will take Damage to HP
Whoever loses all their HP first, wins.

Ideally, you want your Attack and Defense to be higher than
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
Hyperion’s. At that point, how much HP you both have means nothing
because you will always do damage to Hyperion, while you will not take
any damage, and eventually defeat Hyperion over time, thus guaranteed
victory. If your Defense is less than Hyperion’s Attack, you will take
damage and with luck, you may defeat him before you run out of HP, or
you may not. If your HP runs out first, the battle will end, and both
you and Hyperion will regenerate HP over time. Your HP regeneration rate
is dependent on your Mystic stat, and if you regenerate your HP faster,
you can make a second attempt at Hyperion while he is still weak to
defeat him in a second or third round. However, if your Attack is
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
less than Hyperion’s Defense, you will not do any damage to Hyperion
at all and you will definitely lose (or at least wind up in a stalemate).

To Recap:
Your Attack and Defense > Hyperion’s Attack and Defense = Win
Your Defense < Hyperion's Attack = Maybe
Your Attack Create you will notice that you are still building shadow
clones. If you haven’t done it already, click on the “Change Creations”
tab to bring up your creations list and you will notice that a tab has
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
appeared next to “Light”, so you can stop building clones and build some
light if you want. NOTE: CREATIONS ARE NOT CLONES. You are not creating
Light clones, or Stone clones, or Water clones, or Universe clones. You
are creating Light, which is a material to be used to build things later
on in the game. It’s not useful right now, but if you build 500 light,
you will gain an achievement which will be useful. Go back to building
shadow clones after you build 500 light, so that you can continue
to increase your clone maximum.

Third: You have unlocked your first Pet. If you click on
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
“Fight”->Pets you can unlock the Mouse. Pets contribute to basic stat
bonus percentage in the same way that boni does, but they have to be
trained to do it and they need to be fed to increase their growth
rate. Pets are a very new feature in ITRTG and there’s a lot of debate
on how to manage them, especially in the early game, so keep an eye
open for a Pet Guide, which will go into more in depth detail. At
the beginning, you can’t really do anything with your mouse yet
because you can’t spare your clones, you can’t feed it yet, and
you don’t have any currency to purchase feed. DON’T BUY FEED WITH
GP. Seriously. If you do want to feed your pet just to do it, use
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
Free Food. Wasting your GP at this point will slow you down alot.

Fourth: Rebirth
This is the meat and potatoes of how you are going to make long-
term progress in the game. Rebirth is the main game mechanic that
increases your growth-rate, like a soft reset in any other idle game.
You may or may not have noticed the Rebirth button above your avatar,
but I haven’t mentioned it yet because you really don’t want to rebirth
before you defeat Hyperion. And you don’t want to rebirth before you’ve
played the game for at least 1 hour.
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
If you click on the Rebirth tab above your avatar, you will notice
four sets of multipliers which correspond to your four basic stats.
Current Multiplier/After Rebirth
These multipliers affect how your basic stat points are calculated.
For example: Remember at the beginning, when you completed a
progress bar for “Running” and received 1 physical point? Right now,
if you look at the multiplier on the left, every time you complete a
progress bar for “Running” you will receive (1xmultiplier) points to
your physical stat. So if it says 1000/1100, the multiplier on the left
is 1000, so everytime the progress bar completes, you will earn 1000
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
physical points. This multiplier is retroactive (technically it is
a multiplier to your “base” stats but some people find that too confusing
and is a pain to explain without making it sound stupid). Just know that
this multiplier represents your growth rate. The multiplier on the right
is what your multiplier will be when you rebirth. If it is bigger than
your current multi, it will be green, which represents Positive Progress.
If it is less than your current multi, it will be RED, which represents
Negative Progress. Unlike other idle games where a soft reset is a
guarantee you are going to be better, this game will allow you to go
backward if you rebirth too soon or don’t focus on growing your stats
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
properly, and this can be a source of frustration for a lot of people.
Make sure all of these stats are green before you rebirth. Always.

What affects whether my stat multis are green or not?
There are several things that will affect your rebirth stat multis,
but the *main* thing that affects them are Achievements. Not Kongregate
Achievements, Narco Pollo won’t get you any kudos here pal. I spoke
about in-game achievments a little earlier, now I will go into more
detail. There are four sets of achievements which correspond to your
four basic stats and each set of achievements directly affects both
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
your current multis and your rebirth multis. If you click
“Build”->Create, “Train”->Physical, “Train”->Skills, or
“Fight”->Monsters, you will see an icon with a red ribbon at the top of
the screen, if you click this a window with all of the achievements for
that stat will open and you can browse at the criteria for meeting them.
Achievements represent milestones in your progress, for example, creating
500 light, 3000 light, and 12000 light will give you three separate
achievements which affect your creating multis directly (though I don’t
suggest trying to create 3000 light at this point because your creating
is way too low to make it worthwhile), or Killing 1000 Slimys will give
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
you an achievement for your Battle multi, or earning 1000 points in
“Running” will give you an achievement for your physical multi. Take a
couple of minutes to browse through them all, you can right-click on
any achievement to see the details. Some will be green, these are the
ones you have earned and they contribute to your current and rebirth
multis on the rebirth tab. To make your stat multis green, you need
to earn enough achievements to raise your rebirth multis over your
current multis.
The second thing that affects your rebirth multis are how many
gods you have killed. Each god that you have killed since your last
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
rebirth will give you a x2 multiplier to your multis, and is listed
near the bottom of the rebirth tab. Since by now, all you have defeated
is Hyperion, all that you will see is “2” under God Multi. Each
additional god you defeat will multiply this number by 2. So, if you
defeat Hyperion *and* Itzli, it will be 2^2 = 4, or if you defeat
Hyperion, Itzli *and* Gaia it will be 2^3 = 8.
The third thing that affects your rebirth multis are your
overall statistics. If you click on “other”->statistics you will see
a chart of overall game statistics like Online Time, Offline Time,
how many Rebirths you’ve done so far, how many total levels you’ve
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
trained in physical and mystic, how many total gods and monsters
you’ve killed. All of these statistics contribute to your overall
Statistic Multi, which is listed at the bottom of the page. Be aware
however, that your Statistic multi is limited by your God Multi, so
it will never be greater than your God Multi. Even if, on the
statistics page, it says you have a Statistic Multi of 200, if you’ve
only killed Hyperion, your god multi will only be 2, and therefore
your overall Statistics multi will also only be 2. So it is to your
benefit to make sure that you kill the highest god you can so you
can maximize your statistic multi benefit.
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
Both your God Multi, and your Overall Statistic Multi, apply
directly to your rebirth multis and often will be a deciding factor
in determining if they are green or not.
One last thing to note on the Rebirth tab is your clone
Maximum on rebirth. This figure represents your new clone maximum
after rebirth.

Don’t rebirth yet. Double check these things before you do:

1. Make sure that you have been playing at least 1 hour since your last
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
rebirth. You will receive a penalty on your rebirth multis if you rebirth
faster than that. It used to be on a sliding scale from 0-100% base on
how much of an hour had already passed but I have heard recently that you
will receive a 50% rebirth penalty between the 1/2 hour and 1 hour mark,
with a substantially greater penalty before 1/2 hour. Originally this was
intended to keep cheaters out of the game but it affects everybody. So ->
Always wait 1 hour between rebirths. At least until you’ve progressed for
a while.

2. Kill off all of your clones! This is important. When you rebirth, your
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
clone count will revert to 0, but they’re not considered killed when you
do that, but “unmade”, and will NOT contribute toward your clone maximum.
So always make sure you kill off your clones before rebirth so that you
can get the most bang for your buckos. Otherwise they will be wasted.

3. Make sure you defeated the next god on your list. For example: You
just defeated Hyperion, on your next rebirth make sure you defeat both
Hyperion *and* Itzli, then the rebirth after that, make sure you defeat
Hyperion, Itzli *and* Gaia. The exponential god rebirth multi is very
important.
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods

4. Try to feed your pet before rebirthing. I know I haven’t touched on
how to care for your pet yet, but this is worth noting at this point in
case time has passed or you’re farther along the path. If your pet is
below 75% hunger, you can feed your pet FREE food to increase their
growth rate, which carries through rebirths. When you rebirth their
hunger resets to 100% and you wont be able to feed them for a while,
so don’t waste the opportunity to feed them when you have the chance.
This is perhaps not important yet because if you’ve been following this
newbie guide then your mouse is brand new, but keep this in mind later
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
on. DO NOT BUY FOOD WITH GP, feed them FREE food. (I can’t say it enough
you WILL regret wasting your GP)

————————————————————————-

Your First Rebirth!

By now, you should have defeated your first god, Hyperion, banked
your first GP as Physical boni, unlocked your first pet Mouse, and your
rebirth multis should all be green. Now is the time to rebirth.
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods

Oh no! What will happen to my stats? All my hard work…

Rebirth is a soft reset. All of your basic stats: Physical, Mystic
Battle, and Creating will revert to 0. All of your achievements will be
reset. All of the Gods you’ve killed will come back to life. All of your
training will need to be unlocked all over again. All of the monsters
you have killed will need to be unlocked also. And, your clones will
revert to 0, so you will need to recreate all of your clones.

divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
What do you keep between rebirths?

You keep any GP you have earned (so if you click on the GP tab, you
will see your GP banked in Physical is still contributing that 1% as
boni). You also keep any of your permanent upgrades that you have
purchased with GP. You keep your pets you have unlocked, and they in
turn keep their growth multis so they will grow faster. Any progress
that auto-fight has made to reduce your training caps will also be
retained, but keep in mind that auto-fight will only reduce the caps of
skills that have been unlocked so you need to make sure that you
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
unlock all of your skills again quickly so that auto-fight is not
wasting time.

Bah, so why rebirth?

The rebirth multipliers that you earned before your rebirth become
your new base multipliers and are applied directly to your statistics.
All of your new multipliers are applied to your base multipliers, which
means exponential growth. You’re starting out better than you were the
last time (given that you rebirthed with your stats in the green), and
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
you will progress faster and become stronger during this rebirth because
of it. Also, the only way to set your new clone maximum is by rebirthing.
So now, you can create more clones to do more stuff for you.

Rebirth with confidence. Then go back and do everything the same as
you did it the first time.

Create clones.
Put clones on training.
Put clones on monsters.
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
Gain stats, then defeat Hyperion.
Don’t rebirth yet!
Continue to gain more stats, it will be faster!
And keep creating clones, and maybe some light for achievement.
When you’re strong enough, Defeat Itzli!
Double check your rebirth criteria, then rebirth again.

Something you may want to do on your second rebirth is build a few clones
for your pet to defeat. If you click on “fight”->pet, you can click on Mouse
and create some clones for it to defeat. But, those clones have to be free in
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
your clone pool to use, so make sure you leave some idle to use. The pet
interface is a little confusing, but with a little bit of experimentation
you should be able to figure it out. You want to set your clones to be exactly
1/2 of your pet’s current stats. So, if your mouse has 12 mystic, set your
clones to only have 6 battle, and if your mouse has 12 battle, set your clones
to only have 6 mystic. Physical only increases the clone HPs, but don’t set it
more than 1/2 of your Mouse Physical. Then set the # of clones you want to create
and your Mouse will beat them up, and gain xp while doing it. when all of the
clones are defeated you will have to do it again. If you set your clones too
strong, they will kill your mouse and you will have to wait 1 minute before it
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
revives. Make sure you reset the clone data before that happens or your
clones will keep killing your mouse. Pets are somewhat micromanagement oriented
because of these things, but you can reap big rewards over time if you put
enough effort into them early on.
Don’t forget to feed your pet – ideally you want to wait until they have
less than 10% hunger, but that takes a long time. You can feed them less than
75% hunger but you will receive a lesser growth bonus if you do. DO NOT BUY
FEED WITH GP. Use Free food.

From Hyperion->Diana, after each new god you defeat you will receive 1GP,
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
which should be banked and used as physical boni, don’t forget to shift your
newly banked GP into the slider or they will be idle. By the time you defeat
Diana, you should have 9GP banked.
Each god also unlocks a new creation to build: Stones, Soil, Air, Water,
Plants, Trees, Fish, and Animals. Light and Stone are the only 2 creations
that do not require prerequisites. Soil needs Stone to create, Air needs Light,
Water needs Air, Plants need Water and Air, and so on… Right-click on any
creation to see what the prerequisites are. You will automatically attempt
to create the lower creations if you don’t have enough, so a good strategy is
to set your create on a higher creation, and let the creation system
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
automatically build the lower creations for you as it needs them so you can
create a whole bunch of different things. But, if you have a low creation
stat, your creation will be slow, and it will take a lot of time. This is
an important consideration with your rebirths because you really need to
create things faster, specifically your clones, so it is worthwhile to get
the creating achievements to increase your creation stat and, by extension,
your creation speed.

Monuments 1:

divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
After you defeat Diana, the “Build”->Monuments tab will be unlocked.
This will give you the option to use some of your clones to build monuments.
Monuments, by themselves, give you multipliers to your basic stats (Physical,
Mystic, Battle, and Creating) based on what kind of monuments you build
and how many. But, the multiplier they offer only lasts until the next
rebirth, and they will reset to 0 on the new rebirth. Later on in the game
when you defeat Freya, you will have the option to build monument upgrades,
which will multiply your multipliers, and allow a portion of your monument
multipliers to apply to your rebirth multis. More on that later.
Monuments need to have materials in order to build them, and you
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
build these materials in your “Build”->Create tab. The first monument
you can build is a Mighty Statue, which will give you a multiplier bonus
to your Physical stat. However, in order to build it, you need to have
2000 stones in your inventory. So, start creating some stones. When you
have 2000 stones in your inventory, assign some clones to build the
Mighty Statue. Early in the game, monuments can take a *long* time to
build because of limited clones and lack of GP upgrade purchases. On your
first rebirth after Diana, try to build at least 1, maybe 2 Mighty Statues
to boost your Physical stat up enough where you can defeat Izanagi. If
you’re feeling particularly pushy, once you have built the Mighty Statue,
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
you will unlock the Mystic Garden, which costs water and plants to build,
and will give you a multiplier bonus to Mystic, thus boosting your defense.
At this point, because you have not yet defeated Izanagi, you will not be
able to build a Tomb of Gods, because it requires you to create humans which
are unlocked when you defeat Izanagi.
Keep growing and building until you defeat Izanagi for your 10th GP.

GP Purchasing 1:
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods

You’ve just defeated Izanagi, and now have 10GP banked. What will you
spend it on?
Before you do anything else, save your game and export, if you haven’t
been doing it all along. Do not rebirth just yet.
Remember I said earlier that GP is a renewable resource? All of the
gods that you have defeated so far have only given you 1GP the first time
you defeated them. From Hyperion->Diana, you will only receive 1GP ever,
the first time you defeat them. However, from Izanagi->on you will receive
1GP for each God, including Izanagi, that you defeat on each rebirth. So in
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
order to earn GP on every rebirth, you need to make sure that you defeat at
least Izanagi. From here on, your rebirths are going to become slower and
longer, and it may take 2 or 3 rebirths per God to continue progressing.
The key at this point to progressing efficiently is how to properly spend
your GP.
Click on the GP purchasing tab and browse through the list. There’s
a lot of stuff there, but most of it you don’t need to be concerned with
yet. Scroll all the way back to the top of the list and focus your attention
on the first two multipliers – Current Creating Speed Multiplier, and Current
Build Speed Multiplier. Both of these multipliers are key to being able
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
to progress faster and more efficiently. If you scroll down you will notice
several options to purchase these multipliers. Do not purchase either of
these multipliers less than 10GP. If you do, you will be wasting GP. At
10GP, you can purchase either 35% Creating Speed (cs), or 35% Building
Speed (bs).
To start with, your first 10GP should be spend on the 35% Creating
Speed Multiplier. The reason for this is because you want to be able
to build your clones as fast as possible, to increase your clone max as
fast as possible, so you have as many clones as possible to do as many
things as possible. When you first make this purchase it’s likely you’re
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
limited in clones, which limits the speed that you can train, fight,
and build monuments, which in turn limits your growth. The Creating
Speed multiplier takes effect immediately, no need to wait for the next
rebirth, and will combine with the speed conferred by your creating stat
to help you create faster.
Your goal with your first GP purchases is to “bb” your clone
creation, so that you are creating clones as fast as you possibly can.
In order to do this, you need to have 245% Creating Speed Multiplier,
and 56 duodecillion creating stat. When you right-click your creating
stat, it will read 3450% Current Creating Speed, this is the point at
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
which you will “bb” your clones. You probably won’t reach either of
these for a while, but it should your very first goal to attain.

Main Point:
Spend your first 70GP on Creating Speed Multiplier, until you reach
245%. Each time make sure you buy the 10GP 35% upgrade so you are not
wasting GP. Also, keep making creating achievements every rebirth so
that you are increasing your creating stat consistently to reach the
goal of blue-barring your clone creation.

divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
You should be making regular progress of defeating higher and higher
gods over time as well, training, fighting and building to make consistent
progress.

Divinity:
After you have defeated the next God, Nephthys, you will unlock the
option to “Buy” creations, rather than create them. In order for you to
buy creations, you must have at least made 1 of them. So for example, if
you want to buy plants in order to build a mystic garden, you need to have
created at least 1 plant by yourself first. As you unlock your creations,
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
the buy tab will appear next to them after you have created them.
To purchase creations, you need Divinity. Divinity is earned three ways.

First – when you assign clones to defeat monsters in the “fight”->monsters
tab, you will earn divinity at a set rate based on the strongest monsters
you are defeating, and how fast you are defeating them. Your divinity will
increase over time. To increase your divinity rate, you need to defeat
stronger monsters, or you need to defeat the current monsters faster.

Second – In the “Fight”->Special tab, if you turn off the (auto-fight)
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
toggle, you will be presented with a bunch of special battles you can
join which will give you a divinity reward when you are finally defeated.
Yes, I said defeated. The only one you need to be concerned about with
regards to divinity is the “Gods” special fight. You will fight through
all of the gods in order, and finally get your butt kicked by the
highest one you haven’t defeated, and earn a set amount of divinity
based on the highest god you’ve killed so far, the strongest monster
you’ve killed so far, and whether or not you have built the divinity
generator and have it running.

divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
Third – The Divinity Generator
The Divinity Generator is a special monument, unlocked after you have
built at least 1 of all of the other monuments. This will require you to
have defeated at least Cybele, because you need to be able to create
mountains in order to build all of the monuments. You won’t be able to
build this yet, but when you do defeat Cybele, and fight to build the
divinity generator after all the time and effort it takes to build
the creations and monuments necessary, and finally the divinity
generator itself, this is the fastest and most stable way of building
divinity. You buy creations, throw them into the divinity generator,
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
and get 2x the divinity back. Buy more creations, throw them in, and
get another 2x the divinity back. The divinity generator is upgradeable,
and later on in the game, becomes your *primary* source of divinity.
At this point though, imho, it’s not worth bothering with because it
takes too much time with your current building speed.

Focus on fighting monsters and doing special fights to gain
divinity. They will allow you to purchase the creations you need to
build more monuments so you can continue defeating higher gods at a
consistent pace. From Cybele->Eros, this will be mainly grinding.
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods

Monuments 2: Upgrades
When you have defeated Freya, you will unlock the option to build
monument upgrades. The monument upgrades are related to the monument
they modify, and increase the multipliers of the monument in a
multiplicative manner. The monument upgrades require more advanced
creations, which require more divinity and time to produce, but the
upgrades themselves actually build faster than the monuments, which
makes them a very useful tool for boosting your progress quickly if
you have the resources. In addition, the upgrades with confer a portion
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
of your monument multipliers to your rebirth multiplier, which will
increase your growth on every rebirth. Upgrades have a maximum which
they can apply to your rebirth multipliers though, based on the
highest god that you have defeated. More on that later, right now,
it will be hard enough to build even 1 or 2 upgrades for earlier
monuments. But trust me, it will be worth it if you do.

GP Purchases 2:

From Freya->Luna, is more grinding to train, fight, and build
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
to increase your basic stats and rebirth multipliers. Somewhere in
this period of time, depending on how many rebirths you do in
between gods and how much GP you earn, you will reach the point
where you have finally purchased 245% Creating Speed. Once you have
reached this point, the next goal that you need to work for is to
purchase 775% Building Speed Multiplier. Unlike Creating Speed,
which relies partially on your creating stat, your building speed
which affects how fast you build monuments, upgrades, and the
divinity generator, relies *only* on your Building Speed
Multiplier and how many clones you apply to a particular building
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
task. Now that you can potentially bb clones, and can build
clones at the fastest rate possible, you should be able to max
out your clone max at 99999 clones fairly soon. This is a hard
cap. You can not go beyond 99999 clones by creating or killing
clones. Once you reach this limit, the only way to increase
your clone maximum is to purchase clone cap increases with GP.
However, focus on purchasing 770% Building Speed first. Also,
when purchasing creations from Nephthys to build monuments with
the auto-buy option, you will suffer a 20% divinity cost penalty.
You can reduce this penalty buy 1% for every 3GP you spend,
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
until the the auto-buy option reverts to 100% from 120%, which
means that you buy the materials without any penalty.
So, after the first 70GP you spend on Creating Speed:

Spend the next 220GP on Building Speed to reach 770%
Spend an additional 60GP to reduce the autobuy penalty
down to 100%

Once you have an optimal amount of clones, and speed to make
creations, and build speed to make the divinity generator
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
with a reasonable amount of time, and the ability to buy
materials for monuments without a penalty, you will be able
to build monuments efficiently with a reasonable amount of
divinity and increase your growth rate quickly.

Planet? What the heck is this?

When you finally defeat Jupiter, you will be able to make
a Planet in your creations, and the Planet tab will finally
open to provide you with new options. Build a planet with
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
creations – this may take a while depending on how you play.
Then apply it to your planet tab. This will open up the
Powersurge option, which is yet another % multiplier which
applies directly to your stats. By creating successive creations,
(Earthlike Planet, Sun, Solar System, Galaxy, and Universe), you
can level up your planet and unlock Ultimate Beings to defeat,
which will also increase your stat % multiplier. When you first
unlock this, it’s not really worth it to pursue, but it will
really gain traction later on in the game. Your Planet will
persist through rebirths, so you don’t have to unlock or upgrade
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
it again.

Might, or Might not…

It’s possible that if you wait a really long time before
you rebirth that you might have unlocked all of your skills
in training. When you accomplish this feat, a new tab will
open in “Train” called Might. Might offers you a lot of options
to modify your statistics and specific abilities. Just like
training, you assign clones to the specific might modifiers
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
to raise them. The rate at which the progress bars fill though
is strictly governed by how many clones you apply and what
level they are at currently. There is no way to increase this
with GP purchases except by buying more clones.
Physical HP+, Physical Attack+, Mystic Defense+, Mystic
Regen+, and Battle Might+ all modify your basic stats directly
by altering the math I explained earlier with percentage
multipliers. Clones on Divinity+ will reduce the amount of
clones you need on your divinity generator to keep it running
properly. Clones on Planet+ becomes useful when you’re fighting
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
Ultimate Beings on your planet, and will be explained later.
Powersurge+ increases the speed at which your clones will fill
the Powersurge bar.
If you scroll down, the remaining bars all represent
skills that you have that are available when you use “Unleash”.
When fighting a God, you have the option to unleash all of
your skills that you have trained to give yourself a massive
boost to your stats that can push you to defeat a God that is
more powerful that you would otherwise be able to defeat. By
leveling up your skills, you can make your Unleash last longer,
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
and be able to defeat stronger gods by using unleash.
Also, for every 4 levels of anything that you raise, you
will gain 1% in an overall might multiplier which affects all
of your basic stats directly. Over the span of many rebirths
and many levels, this % will remain and become cumulative over
time and contribute a massive bonus to your basic stats every
time might is unlocked on a new rebirth. 1-capping your training
therefore is very important because it will allow you to reach
might faster, and with fewer clones. Remember to turn auto-fight
back on if you have done any special fights for divinity! It
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
takes 93 days of straight auto-fighting with all of your skills
unlocked to 1-cap all of your training, so don’t waste it!

“Next…”

Here I will introduce an intermediate strategy for
streamlining your training. In “Train”->Physical and Skills, there
is a tab that may say “Next at” or “Stop at”. Click on
“other”->settings and you will see a list of toggles. We are
concerned with two of them.
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
Make sure that the “Stop at or Next at” toggle is clicked
off, so that you will always have the “Next at” tab in training.
Then click on the toggle next to “Ignore Clone Count” and set the
data field to 1. Then, click on “Train”->Physical and toggle
“Next at” to on and set the data field to 13500. Do the same thing
with “Train”->Skills.
What this will do is direct the game to push your clones down
to the next tier of skills after a certain level is reached, and
always leave 1 on the prior skill, this way you don’t have to
micromanage your clones in training. This way, you don’t have to
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
worry about whether your clones are training to reach Might, they
will get there eventually.
A GP upgrade called “Improved Next At” modifies the next at
function so that your clones will automatically move down to the
next tier of skills *as soon as the next tier opens*. If all of
your skills are 1-capped and you have Improved Next At, you will
unlock might in exactly 1:34 hours which is the fastest you can
get. This GP purchase costs 99GP though, and is really a mid-game
strategy. Just something to look forward to. For now, just rely
on the regular Next At function to help with some of that
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
annoying micromanagement since your rebirths are getting very
busy.

—————————————————————-

Stick it to the MAN

After you defeat Jupiter, going from Odin->Chronos is more
grinding. I find that the following routine is pretty effective
for rebirths:
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods

Apply clones to Physical and Skills, make sure you have
your Next At set up properly.
Apply clones to monster fights by Right-Clicking the +
button, and make sure you have the Next if 1-cloned on
Scroll down and reapply clones while you are still building
to kill as high of a monster as possible
Go to Fight->Gods and instakill as many Gods as possible
At this point reassign your GP to boni or make GP purchases
(If you have reached the goals set earlier, jump down
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
to GP Purchases 3 for the next strategy)
Go back to monsters and keep reassigning to the highest
Go to Build->Create, turn on auto-buy and turn off create
clones automatically, and create at least 1 of every
creation all the way down to mountain.
Turn off auto-buy and turn back on auto create clones
Go back to monsters and kill the highest monster you can
then remove all of your clones on any monster you can’t
bb
Go to build->monuments, and make sure the “Stop after finish”
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
toggle is checked. Build 1 of every monument to unlock
the divinity generator
In the meantime, while your monuments are building, do special
fights->Gods to get as much divinity as possible
Build the divinity generator

Now at this point you can have your clones either upgrade only
converting speed and divinity gain on the divinity generator (never
upgrade Capacity, it’s a waste at this point), or have them start
building monuments with the divinity that you’re earning. You should
divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
be able to constantly build monuments with auto-buy, but upgrades will
sap your divinity a bit, so build them as much as possible and
reassign them when you can no longer afford the upgrades. Eventually,
you will gain enough stats to defeat the next god, even if you have
to wait a while for Might in order to get unleash. Then rebirth and
repeat.

GP Purchasing 3:
Once you have 245% Creating Speed, 770% Building Speed, and 100%
autobuy, and 99999 clones, you should follow the following formula for
divinity generator idling to rule the gods divinity generator idling to rule the gods
how to spend your GP –
Purchase in this ratio:

20k Clones Max/2 Creation Count/175% Building Speed

It doesn’t matter what order you do them in, but you should try
to maintain this ratio, to maintain an even balance between your
clone maximum, how fast you create your clones, and how fast you
build your monuments. This formula is based on intervals of 200GP
(25GP each for 2x 10k Clone Max, 50GP each for 2x Creation Count, and
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
10GP each for 5x 35% Building Speed Multiplier). If you have the guts
and time to grind, earn 99GP for the Improved Next At or waste 1GP
to even out your clones to a round multiple of 10k.
I wouldn’t advise wasting GP on frivolous things yet though,
unless you’re speedrunning, which is an intermediate strategy, GP
is still a pain in the butt to earn and very necessary to maintain
proper progress.

Harbinger of Evil

divinity generator idling to rule the gods informational divinity generator idling to rule the gods
Eventually you will defeat Chronos and reach Baal. Honestly,
the gap between Chronos and Baal isn’t that bad, but if you’ve
been speeding through the game as fast as possible up until now,
you probably don’t have a lot of GP upgrade purchases, Might levels,
training caps, and you might not even have maxed your clones out
at 99999 yet. I would suggest that you spend a little bit of time
rebirthing in the green just a little bit while going back through
and GP farming to earn more permanent upgrades. Like I said earlier,
this is a *long* game and you’re still just scratching the surface.
In any case, just treat this like any old rebirth, train,
divinity generator idling to rule the gods check more divinity generator idling to rule the gods
fight and build as much as possible, but try to focus your monuments
on Mighty Statues, Mystic Gardens, and Godly Statues if you can.
Skip the Tombs and Lighthouses but for the one you need to create to
get the divinity generator.
You might need to upgrade your divinity generator a bit, try
to aim for 0/2/2 0/5/5 or somewhere in there, so you can make
a lot of monuments, particularly Godly Statues. Wait until you’ve
unlocked Might. Hopefully you’ve been training might levels up
until now and you will have a healthy overall might bonus when
you unlock it for unleash.
divinity generator idling to rule the gods best of divinity generator idling to rule the gods
When you’re ready, unleash and confront Baal. If you don’t
get it the first time, don’t worry. Just wait longer, build more,
the longer you wait, the higher your basic stats will get. Eventually,
you will be able to do it.

When you kill Baal – Congratulations! You’re no longer a newbie.
But you’ve only seen a small portion of what this game offers so far.

I hope this guide has been able to explain the basics. Enough for you
to get into anyway. I will be adding in an intermediate strategy

section and glossary later. And, of course, we are all always happy
to answer questions on chat! Anyhow enjoy!

Oh and listen to my BGM that I made for the game! Please? Thanks!
